Well, Bill and Otto, I thank you for pointing out the obvious misalignment on the distributor. I pulled all the wires from the distributor, corrected the misaligned items you both pointed out which made a lot more sense. Then I restabbed the distributor, noted the location of the rotor, tightened bolt and screw, then rewired the distributor according to the firing order. Tomorrow I will pack the grease cup with grease, which I failed to do today. Hopefully, all is well now and we can put this thread to rest.... before I start another one, lol.
