Dan, no apology needed. I found the extended conversation interesting. Read through it all to make sure it didn't apply to me. I will take a picture tomorrow of my distributor hold down setup in case anyone sees a problem with it plus a picture of what I thought was the hold down that started this thread. Thanks, all!
(Good news is I have finished painting the firewall and am ready to slip the frame/engine back under the cab and start assembling all the hook-ups there. Yea!)
