A company called Vintage Auto Garage has a 6 volt fuel pump that is rated at 2 1/2 - 4 1/2 psi
This would be a good place to start , if the carb is still not happy ( flooding) a pressure regulator to drop the psi down to 3 psi may work.
I am going to test the output of the regulator, to verify the psi.
