When I did mine, I removed the end clip for the clutch pedal and used a small drift to punch out the pin for the brake pedal. I believe it punches out from the bottom up and you slide the large pin out to release the pedal. I did mine a while ago, but I think I also replaced the bushings?

FYI - I had an issue with my master cylinder. Make sure both holes are clear of debris. My bypass hole was blocked and the brakes would not release properly. Just something to check if you have your MC out.
