I have gone over the wheel and master cylinders, and they are ready to go.
I pulled out the master cylinder/pedal mounting bracket, and it seems to me that there is more slop than I expected in the movement of the pedals on their pivot shafts.
The two manuals I have been able to find indicate that there are removable plugs for adding lubricant in passenger car applications, but neither mention lubrication options for trucks…and I can’t find any “removable plugs”.
The number stamped into the bracket is 475811 which is called out in the MPC as being for ’36-’46 “All ½ TON COMM> (3 SPD.)”
Suggestions?
