If you never see freezing temps, the best coolant is --------- WATER. Yep, just plain ol' water. But a Corrosion inhibitor package should be added.
Evans coolant is 100% Propylene Glycol, which doesn't have as good a heat capacity as the standard 50/50 ethylene glycol coolant, and plain water beat both of them in it's heat capacity properties.
One downside of water is that it evaporates or boils away, which is why pressurized cooling systems were developed. Evans doesn't have that issue, but in the same cooling system, will not beat water in heat transfer properties. It won't boil, but the engine will run hotter if the radiator isn't up to the task.
