Been a minute since I’ve thought about this, but I think the restriction orifice in the center tube of my bypass canister is quite high in the housing. The filter stays pretty darn full all the time.
Jon’s got a good theory there, but I don’t think it would play out that way on my 235.
Perhaps not all canisters were made as mine is?
