I found a piece of copper pipe with wall thickness about 1/16th of an inch thick. From a pipe 7/8” OD. I think that might work. I do have another pipe I keep moving around that may be a little thicker

Update: Found the 1 inch pipe. Same wall thickness

So maybe drill holes 3/4 apart. Then bolt, copper, nut, ring terminal, star washer, nut?

Plenty of room, doesn’t look like it!
