Isn't the Sovoy Museum also in Cartersville ?? I've heard its a good place to visit for anyone going.
Yes, the Savoy is in Cartersville:
SAVOY AUTOMOBILE MUSEUMDefinitely worth a visit if you are in the area. They rotate the cars around and have temporary exhibits all of the time. They had a temporary exhibit of local cars last year, which was really neat. Then they had a bunch of Japan only Japanese manufactured vehicles... many of which I had never seen or heard of, that was different. They mix it up, always something going on there. They also show 'car movies' in the little theater there throughout the year.
The
Booth Western Art Museum is also in Cartersville, worth a visit if you like western art... landscapes, sculptures of all sorts... it is pretty big and worth a visit. Wear good shoes.
Lots of things going on in the downtown area by the railroad tracks/the Booth, they have really fixed it up in the last 15 years or so.
