Holly sells a Sniper TBI unit for Ford 200 and 250 inline six engines. There are a couple guys on this forum who have used it successfully on 216/235 Chevrolet inline sixes.

No reason it couldn't work on a Chevy 250.

You're not likely to increase performance or fuel economy but you won't have to deal with a carburetor if that bothers you a lot.

I think they're about $2000 last time I checked.
