I have a super-vague recollection (so vague it might be just my imagination), of HRL outlining a procedure whereby some commonly available pump gears (SBC?) being modified/machined to work in the Stovebolt pump housing. I could also be conflating some procedure where one makes a 216 into a full pressure-oiler.

I do know that some applications use an electric pump to separately oil a turbo. I don’t know whether that would be viable in this sort of application.
