Not sure there is sufficient room on the 235 throttle body to hog out the mounting holes.

One could fabricate a tapered adapter to allow the fit.

One could either use a 235 intake manifold or fill, redrill, and retap the mounting stud holes in the 216 manifold.

I do not know the diameter of the fuel / air hole in the 216 intake; it might be necessary to hog out this hole to match the larger throttle body.

The 235 carburetor would REQUIRE recalibration for use on the 216. Probably a metering rod and main jet; would have to guess on both, you might end up buying more than one.

As Nathan stated above, 216 YF's are much more common than those for a 235. I am certain it would be easy to make a trade for the 216 carburetor.

If no one else reading this will do so, I will make such a trade; in fact, if you have a rebuildable 2100s, I will trade you TWO 216 YF's for it.
