All in all not a bad weekend. The worst rain was around 5pm on Thursday and it only last about 15 minutes or so. Friday was great and the show still had over 160 trucks. Camp Stovebolt was a little smaller than it has been in the past but we figured the forecast kept some away. As for the rest of the weekend, the worst weather only amounted to some sprinkles. Those of us there (The 5-6-7 Crew) had a blast. Even after all these years, I can say per usual that I look forward to next year and hope even more will show up. Camp was made up of me, Mike Roache, Sweet, Amtrak Joe, Mr. Schmidt (with a "D"), and Artie. We had guest appearances from Mike B, George Van Orden, Victor and Cosmo and Grigg. Lots of laughs, good food, a couple great (ramp) fires, and a few adult beverages including a special retirement gift bottle of Maple Whiskey straight from Canada (What? No way!). I owe someone a dozen eggs and Sweet two containers of potato salad. and some sammiches. Look forward to seeing you all soon. Thanks for a great weekend.
