Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,827 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,827 | Getting tools behind the dash to remove the 4 nuts holding the speedo in place is tricky. On pre 1954 trucks you can remove the radio speaker grill to gain better access.
When re-installing the speedo, used knurled nuts instead of hex nuts. You can spin them on with your fingers. It's a lot easier.
The bezel comes off by bending a few tabs with a small screw driver. The needle can be put back on the tiny shaft with patience. It's a press fit. They sell new needles if necessary.
