Well! I too a while back wanted one of those hand cranks. But the price I lost interest. So I made one from ½ inch steel pipe and a bolt to fit the damper slot. It’s uglyyyy! But the damper where the bolts slots in was also shot. Doesn’t work well either. I’ll take a photo let you guys laugh a little and joke about it.
