I have a customer that just purchased a 1940 Chevy pickup from an auction that was a mess. We rewired it, cleaned out the fuel system, rebuilt the carb and got it running only to discover the block is cracked. I am not familiar with these engines at all. He has a good running engine from a 1955 Chevy car. Is it a bolt in? Im not concerned with motor mounts being different, mainly the bellhousing bolt pattern, differences in the crank flange and things like that.
