The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Hand throttle

Hello Stovebolters,

I have a 47 GMC model fc102 with a 216 engine and modern Daytona carb, is all running great, would like to hook up the hand throttle, comes in handy if I have to start out on a slight hill, lots of those around sw wisconsin. Unfortunately the throttle linkage on this Daytona carb isn't setup to do that. Wondering if you folks could advise on ideas for modifying my throttle linkage to allow for that, maybe send me pic of your linkage to give me some ideas? Attached is a my linkage.
