Make a GOOD written and pictoral record of wiring and where wires go if you can. Then rewire with modern wire per wiring diagram. The dash cluster and/or gauges must come out. Gord's diagram, when zoomed up, looks pretty good. Use that and the one I posted together.
Note, I would expect the components to be too old to trust. They may not work at all. So I myself would update. I'm not hung up on nostalgic wiring and electrical components. I do like original dash, orig looking gauges, body, chassis, seats, interior, wheels.
I do realize however, that the dash and gauges are as simple as it gets. Very neat looking truck. You are lucky to find it.
