I, too have discovered the joys of a mortising machine!
I’m about to make seven interior doors for our new house, from wide Western Hemlock boards.
I’ll be mortising the vertical styles the same way.
Have you tried adding Japan dryer to the linseed oil?
I’ve had good results from it, with fast curing.
