thanks for the idea. earlier, i did something similar, except that i measured from the outmost flat surfaces of the rim and got a much laeger measurement. anyway, i just ran out to the garage and measured things up:
6.75" tire width
- 1.25" top of tire to bead
- 1.25" bottom of tire to bead
---------
4.25" to outside of beads
guess that means i have 16" x 4" rims.
ok... so now that i've determined that i have 4" wide rims, what size range of tires can i install?
