Remind me. Are you modding this engine to do pressurized rod oiling?
Yes, the impetus for this was that I burnt out the #1 rod last fall. Figured it was time to fix the babbit rod spray oiler issue once and for all. This should be a dependable engine once it's put together. This build is requiring a bit less "creative metal butchering" than Jerry's builds.
The one unusual snag was the piston skirts interfering with the crank counterbalances. Should be a relatively easy fix once I track down a lathe to use. One good friend has two of them, but neither is operational at the moment. Will be trying a different source. I could take them to the machine shop and pay for them to be cut down, but the friend route is better.
