well i ain't sure i qualify for a remodel, but i built a 38x40 garage. the guy at the bank said it's worth about 21 thousand bucks, and i got 3 grand in it. all scrounged material except for doors and concrete, and electrical box. everything else was free for the taking.will post some pictures soon. oh by the way, it's called the hillbilly garage thanks to a certain gary perry, who made a comment regarding my method of construction, and it stuck. one thing, i did almost all of the work by myself, and it's taken 2 years to do---so i figure i saved 11 grand a year.
