Hy RAC1812 and guys, for some unknown reason none of my Canadian GMC 248 engines have their serial numbers stamped the way their American cousins are, mine are stamped with letters at the beginning of the number, always a G first letter but different second letter and no reference to the engine's internal size in the number used. The 302 engines I have are stamped the same way their American cousins are.
