Well, the parts vendors have a metal bit for repairing the dash if you want that to look original again.

My radio slot had a 8 track in it when I bought it, so there had been some cutting involved, was not original anymore.

So, I cut it a little more to fit a single DIN radio CD player in there, fits nice.

That bolt part is hard to find used, so I guess if I mess with it again I will just have to engineer something from the hardware store. Also, it seems I will have to take the wiper motor loose to have room to work.
