Well, with all those hardened screws laying next to it, are you going to forge a Damascus kitchen knife for Linda?

Looks to be a cast steel body with a hardened steel plate welded to the top. Probably from the 40's or 50's.
It is in really good shape and hardly used.
But be careful, don't strike the hardened plate with a hammer as it could chip the edge or crack the plate.
