I was wondering if anyone has seen a 6 cylinder with three carburetors. With each carburetor feeding two cylinders. The linkage could be similar to the Honda 750. That would allow synchronizing the carburetors. That would eliminate the pulsing problem that is seen with multiple carburetors all in the same intake flow. Just trying to understand this approach. I knew an engineer that ran 2 four-barrel 1200 cfm Holley carburetors on A V6 Buick in a dragster. The competition tried running the same setup after he set low ET and fastest times in the class. Needless to say they ran horribly. He always kept the systems covered up from prying eyes. What they couldn't see was that one barrel on each carburetor was blocked off. Each cylinder ran on one barrel. It seems that running two cylinders per carburetor is feasible. Just looking for input on this approach.
