So I bit the bullet. I found a carb, manifold and head on Ebay. I didn't give the asking price but made a more realistic offer and the seller accepted.
It an Offenhauser with 2 Carters and an earlier 235 head. I probably won't use the head but offer it up on the Swap Meet.
