I’ll try that when I get it running again. I do have the 1964 style PCV setup with the air intake at the rear of the block and the closed oil filler cap connected to a PCV valve at the rear of the carb.

What was the advantage of the induced vacuum leak on the NASCAR rigs? I see the part about keeping oil pressure up, but just wondering about fouling plugs.
