Back in 1968, I was driving my Model A thru Texas and we got the pickup truck price of 25c/gallon. In SoCal in the mid 60's used to just get $1 worth of gas. The tank only held 10 gallons, and that $1 of gas would last me at least a week. I don't recall the price being 25c, but I recall that dollar got me about 3 gallons.
