Thanks for the tip K. There’s two sides to the tape. One is sorta sticky and the other looks like an inside lining. Which goes on the glass.
Found used garnish trim molding but the are way up there on price. I’m talking $200 range for both. But I guess it’s to be expected on some hard to find parts.
