Let's see- - - - -we seem to have a choice between using a system that GM developed over 50 years ago- - - -with untold millions of them having worked properly for untold billions of miles- - - - -or trying to acquire one "kit" that has a spotty reliability record or another one that seems to be unobtanium. All because people are too lazy or unimaginative to do the kind of tinkering and adapting that has been the hallmark of American ingenuity for generations. That's a pretty shameful state of affairs!
