I taught machining, both general purpose, and automotive, off and on for 30-something years, at both the high school and state trade school levels. Ditto for welding, and collision repair. The high school where I retired in 2011 had 23 - - - -count 'em- - - -different trade and industrial courses, including a print shop, electronics, HVAC, commercial art, building trades, drafting, and commercial foods. The building covered over 10 acres under one roof, on three floors, and the campus was over 100 acres. You're right- - - -they're all gone now.
