Colors are posted at sunrise! salute2

My memories and the pain of that day still bring tears to my eyes. It's been 23 years since that day and we have a new generation that wasn't here when that happened. I talked with my 14 year old granddaughter yesterday about what she thought of 9-11??? She really didn't seem to have a good grasp of the immensity of what happened and how it has long affected those of us that did experience it. So we took the time to go through old news reports, videos and pictures. After sharing these things, we both shed a lot of tears, she has a much better/bigger understanding today. The kids/young adults of today really don't know the pain and heartache, so it's up to us to help our fellow Americans all remember those lost then and since that day and pay respect to their memories.

NEVER FORGET!

Hooah,
Dan
