If you're a stickler for original, then forget about the disc brakes and automatic transmission, etc. Install seat belts, though.

I use my '50 for work all the time. It has stock drum brakes and 3 on the tree. I use it for work and drive on the freeway at 60mph without any issues.

Get the original equipment up to snuff and it will do the job without difficulty.
