Going to look for a speedo cable for my custom build.
700R4 transmission with mechanical conversion and stock 0-90 speedo. I'm measuring about 72" to route it as far away from exhaust.
To help with heat and durability, which should I look for...metal or plastic outer?
And any GM speedo side fitting and 200-700 trans side, correct?
I've searched a bit and can't find much on sizes other than "fits GM". They just list stock lengths and no fitting sizes. The early GMs had a tab on the trans side cable I've seen.

Any info much appreciated.
