You can also buy a 16" flexi fan that will still clear the lower radiator outlet. I used one at one time but I had to flatten out the blades because they had too much pitch and hit the crank pulley. I also need the fan to pull lots of air at 3000 RPM when pulling a hill. I now have a 16" 6-blade truck fan and it cools fine. That said I also have an electric pusher on the other side of the radiator wired to a 205 deg. fan switch. The pusher goes on in hot weather on a long hard pull and after shut down sometimes but not at parade speeds.
