As mentioned in
another thread, I am restoring a 1961 Knee knocker. Someone had previously dropped in a 350, which was blown, with a TH350 transmission. My original plan was to get a crate 350 and a NV3500 transmission. I ran into a guy that has a marine 350 from a boat with less than 200 hrs on it that he would rebuild, and he recommended I stay with the TH. I am planning to use the truck as a daily diver. First I don’t know anything about boat engines other than they run at 4000 RPM all day and second would the TH350 3 speed be a better daily driver choice than the 5 speed manual NV3500?
