I don't know about Colorado any longer (they used to mirror Texas), but Texas (at least for the time being) still has mandatory vehicle inspections. Anything like an Ahooga horn or other "specialty" horns won't pass inspection...that is to say it isn't legal to use one of those as a warning device. Might be a good idea to check or get an opinion from your DMV.
