Fixed the problem with the throttle return. Otto nailed it. Added a washer and a better cotter pin.

New problem is that I am experiencing now a very rough idle. At idle, I have to set the idle way too high to keep the engine from stalling out.

Is my vacuum/idle jet not adjusted properly? Or do I just need to pull the carb and give it a good cleaning or even a rebuild?

Thanks,
John
