I cannot define that. I can give you a data point.
The fuel in my YF’s bowl has almost always evaporated between driving sessions. Rarely driven on consecutive days. Sometimes it sits a week, and sometimes it sits a month. I have tried really hard to only run non-ethanol fuel, but I haven’t been 100% in that arena.
My black diaphragm lasted a little over two years under those conditions. The black ones aren’t expensive, nor a big deal to change. But I would gladly invest in a more resistant one just to avoid the hassle.
