Great progress in a short time!
I'm working on a 65. I can feel a lot of rust in that little compartment under the fuel tank saddles. It is probably negligible but any speck of rust I am able to do anything about I do or it bothers me.
I was curious if you have thought about that or addressed it?

Are you talking about inside the cab? If so, does anything show beneath? Mine was clean and I left the saddles to build some kind of a behind the seat storage box, but the buckets go back quite a ways so that might not be a thing….
