Tom-
I did upgrade to a 350 HO. I don’t have my exhaust run yet. Soon hopefully. However I chose to go with a set of center dump ram horns that just clear the frame. I’m keeping my truck fairly stock looking and suspension wise. I also installed a 700R4 for a tranny. I modified the original transmission crossmember to help stiffen up the frame by where the rear of the leafs come in. That helped a lot! The crossmember is modified in a way that I can remove the center section to be able to drop the transmission or drop the pan on the tranny easier. And then I also have the added tranny crossmember for the 700r4. Anyways, my plan for the exhaust would be to come straight down from the ram horns and then turn back and go under all the crossmembers and the stock location of the brake master cylinder. As I said I’m at stock height with a taller tire so plenty of room with no chance of issues from having the truck lowered but not so low on the exhaust that the running boards won’t be able to hide them still. Hope that makes sense.
