I purchased the CPP brake fluid reservoir kit and I’m trying to decide where to put the tank in my 1954 3100 Chevy truck. I kept the master cylinder where it was at under the cab but upgraded to a dual reservoir setup instead of the single. I wasn’t paying close enough attention to the kit when I purchased it to see where the mounting tabs are on the tank. I was going to mount this to the firewall but for me to do this the tabs would have to be on the vertical side not the horizontal bottom. I’d have to fabricate some bracket to hold this in this configuration. For those that have used this kit where and how did you mount the tank? Or is the a better economical option? Other then some machined billet piece which would be nice but the funds aren’t there for one of those. Also would black hose could be used instead if the clear that comes with the kit? I included a picture of the kit. Thanks for any comments that are shared.
