Timing is pretty close. My timing light doesn't flash very brightly. I probably need a better one. But I painted the BB white and it does appear in the bell housing window when the light flashes with timing light on number one plug. I can't quite make out if the BB is appearing right on the pointer, before or after. But it is appearing within that window. I will probably borrow a better timing light from a buddy.
