Believe me, I'm no fan of ethanol but as long as you don't let the stuff sit in the fuel tank for long periods of time, you won't have problems with it.
Remember when they took lead out of gasoline? Everybody swore you had to put a lead substitute in your tank or your exhaust valves would burn themselves up. Never mind that AMOCO had been selling premium unleaded fuel since 1923.
When whale oil was banned from use as a friction modifier for ATF, old timers swore that transmissions would never shift right again.
Nobody likes change but it isn't always as grim as it seems at first.
