It's a pretty early one then. I don't know the exact years.
From what I can find Watson and Brown Lipe and Spicer were separate companies.
At some point the 3 merged and eventually only the Spicer name continued. Not sure if Watson and Brown Lipe joined, and the were bought by Spicer, or Spicer bought both one at a time?
It appears as if Spicer did not have their own auxiliary transmissions until they bought Brown Lipe, still not sure when Watson was absorbed.
This is interesting, I'll have to try harder to find facts and dates on these auxiliaries.
