| | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 385 | Sorry for my stupidity. This is about the mutt. It has already been determined from the VIN plate and the Engine ID number that the cab is from a 1952 3/4 ton and the engine is from a 1954 1500.
If it wasn't so hot I would go out and look for the number of the frame.
There is very little original about this truck. My wife and I finally identified the seats as being from a late 1960s Volkswagen.
Isn't it cool, though? I mean it both runs (kind of) and dumps!
I forgot to mention that it was all my wife's idea. We have about 15 feet of chat between the front yard and the back yard, and she said it was getting thin.
The engine and ignition system have been converted to 12 volt.
