Bill, thanks for the detail reply.
I believe some of the issue must be the switch. Yesterday I had continuity from BAT to ACC with the switch on. Today, nothing. The '57 switch seems a bit unique as to find a match to mine, I can only find used. I have order a switch that reportedly will work. I will get back to you when it arrives.
