The stock fuel line from the fuel pump has a flared end with a male threaded fitting on it. That end threads into a female fitting which is crimped to the rubber line. The other end of the rubber hose has a fitting that mimics the one on the end of the steel line so it threads right into the female fitting on the petcock.
