In a perfect world with a brand new 235 block, probably .100 maybe even .125. But after all these years of use and corrosion on the outside of the cylinders in the water jacket, you would really need to sonic test the block. I had a 261 block bored to .030 and hit rust. Other 261blocks went .060 no problem. All depends on the actual wall thickness.
